When choosing a residence hall on campus, it is important to consider what options are the most important to you.

Bedlofts & Microfridges
Campus Housing partners with Bedloft.com to provide optional amenities for your room. These include bedlofts, microfridges, and futons.
Please place your order before July 27 to ensure your items are in your room and assembled by move-in day.
Mail is delivered directly to each residence hall or complex and posted into your mailbox. The box number corresponds with the room or apartment number in each hall or complex. You can find your residence hall address on each residence hall page. Campus Housing will notify you about packages via your UIC email and can be picked up at your area desk.
Looking for a large selection of Twin XL linens? At UIC, we partner with the Residence Hall Linens Program at Our Campus Market (OCM).
The selection is larger than you will find anywhere else, at prices that are budget-friendly. Best of all, every Residence Hall Linens product is guaranteed to last from move-in all the way to graduation. Extra-long sheets, extra-long mattress pads, extra-long comforters, pillows, decor and storage solutions and all other products are backed by this guarantee.
UIC offers all-you-care-to-eat locations with breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekend brunch dining. All students who live in Commons South, Commons West, Commons North, Courtyard, or James Stukel Towers are required to choose a meal plan.
The most up-to-date information—including an explanation of each meal plan, dining hall locations, hall hours and an FAQ—can be found on the UIC Dining website.
When not using the meal plan, students can pay for meals by using cash, credit cards, or Flames Fare at additional locations on campus including quick-serve restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores.
You will choose your meal plan when signing your Housing contract. You can decrease your meal plan within the first two weeks of the semester on the Dock, however, you are free to increase this at any time.
