Summer Housing
Campus Housing offers summer housing options to both current Housing residents looking to continue living on campus as well as UIC students looking to become new residents.

We offer a number of different summer contract term options based around UIC Summer Session course periods.
For summer housing applicants looking to take classes during the Summer Session, we encourage you to stay updated on course offerings here.
UIC Summer Session program dates:
- 4-Week Session: May 13 – June 7
- 8-Week Session: June 10 – August 2
Campus Housing contract options:
- 4-Week Session: May 12 – June 8
- 8-Week Session: June 9 – August 3
- 12-Week Session: May 12 – August 3
- Move-in begins at noon on first day of contract term, check-out is at noon on last day of contract term
Residents should apply for Summer Housing no later than April 11, 2024. Those who apply after this date will be charged a late administrative fee of $50.00 to secure Summer Housing.

Who is eligible for Summer Housing?
Residents for summer term must either be currently enrolled for that summer term or the upcoming Fall semester. If you have questions about your application and availability, please email us at housing@uic.edu.
Can I purchase a meal plan for summer?
Summer residents living in the ARC and JST will be required to purchase a summer meal plan from Dining Services.
The Summer 2024 dining hall will be the United Table location in Student Center East (SCE) on the 1st floor. The JST Cafeteria will not be open for Summer 2024.
