Single Student Residence
Introduction
Single Student Residence (SSR) is an apartment-style building that houses graduate and professional students as well as undergraduate students that are sophomore academic class standing or above. Each student has an individual bedroom and shares a kitchenette and bathroom within each unit. Because this building is mainly for graduate and professional students, the entire building is meant for students to concentrate in their intensive studies. SSR is located on the west side of campus in the Illinois Medical District.
Each room is equipped with a twin bed, desk, and chair for each participant. Wheelchair accessible rooms are also available upon request.
Floor plans of the apartments and efficiency apartments can be viewed by clicking through the photo deck below. On average, efficiency apartments have less square footage than the other SSR apartments.

Guests staying in Single Student Residence (SSR) should arrive at the West Area Office (WAO) front desk location to check-in and to check-out.
