Campus Housing has available accommodations for interns working in the Chicagoland area, whether you are local to Chicago or moving here for your summer internship.
Intern Housing accommodations feature fully furnished 4-person apartments with four private bedrooms and two shared bathrooms, kitchen, and living room spaces.

Location: Our housing is nestled in the heart of the city’s University Village neighborhood, which is home to many restaurants, coffee houses, and shops!

Here at UIC, we offer both private and shared (3-person) occupancy rooms in air-conditioned residence halls throughout our east, south, and west sides of campus.
- traditional-style rooms with a community bathroom on each floor
- share a bathroom within their own private suite
- apartment-style units provide everyone with their own private bedroom, sharing the common spaces within the unit
Minimum contract duration is one week for any intern housing stay.

Reservations
To begin the reservation and payment process, apply online. Once you have applied, we will contact you with the next steps.

Please download, print, and sign our Intern Housing Agreement (PDF).
Deposit Policy
Interns must complete an Intern Housing Application and submit a 10% non-refundable deposit to the Intern Housing Office to reserve a room. The deposit will be applied to the balance due for housing. All payments are made via an electronic payment link using a valid credit card.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel a reservation, email notice must be provided to UIC Intern Housing 48 prior to arrival. If notice of cancellation is received after an intern moves in, a charge of 50% of the remaining housing fee will be assessed.
Damages and Incidentals
Each intern will be charged a $250 deposit, added to the final bill for damage and incidentals during their stay. This deposit is refundable provided there are no lost or damaged items from the room occupied. All monies will be returned to the intern after checkout and room inspection has been completed.
