Campus Housing recognizes and values the educational advantage of living on-campus. To support our resident’s academic success, we offer a variety of features including free tutoring, Living and Learning Communities (LLC), and a Faculties-In-Residence program.
Campus Housing strives to provide you with many opportunities outside of class to support your success. Learn more about the academic services provided to you by living on campus.
Bedlofts and Microfridges
Campus Housing partners with Bedloft.com to provide the optional amenities of a microfridge or bedloft. These items can be ordered online and setup in your unit prior to your arrival when ordered early.
Please place your order before July 27 to ensure your items are in your room and assembled by move-in day.
Mail and Packages
Mail is delivered directly to each residence hall where each resident of that building is assigned a personal mailbox. The box number corresponds with the unit number in each hall. You can find your residence hall address on each residence hall page.
Campus Housing will notify you when you receive a package via your UIC email. Your package can then be picked up at the front desk of the residence hall you live in.
Looking for a large selection of Twin XL linens? At UIC, we partner with the Residence Hall Linens Program at Our Campus Market (OCM).
The selection is larger than you will find anywhere else at prices that are budget-friendly. Best of all, every Residence Hall Linens product is guaranteed to last from move-in all the way to graduation. Extra-long sheets, extra-long mattress pads, extra-long comforters, pillows, decor and storage solutions and all other products are backed by this guarantee.
UIC offers all-you-care-to-eat locations with breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekend brunch dining. All residents who live in Commons West, Courtyard, or James Stukel Towers are required to choose a meal plan.
The most up-to-date information—including an explanation of each meal plan, dining hall locations, hall hours and an FAQ—can be found on the UIC Dining website.
When not using the meal plan, students can pay for meals by using cash, credit cards, or Flames Fare at additional locations on campus including quick-serve restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores.
You will choose your meal plan when signing your Housing contract. You can decrease your meal plan within the first two weeks of the semester on the Dock, however, you are also able to increase this amount at any time.

Both Dragon Dollar$ and Flames Fare can be used in any of our campus eateries‚ including dining halls‚ convenience stores and fast food.
We are happy to offer free washer and dryer use for on-campus residents! We offer LaundryView as a no-cost service to see if laundry machines are available or to alert you to when your laundry is finished.
