2025-2026 Academic Year Rates

Contract Dates: All contract rates listed on this page are for the entire academic year – both Fall & Spring semester, including the following dates: August 24, 2025 – December 13, 2025 and January 11, 2026 – May 9, 2026. Interim Housing for the period between December 13, 2025 and January 11, 2026 is a separate Housing request and additional rates apply.

Fees:

• $50 non-refundable Housing application fee for new applicants

• $80 per semester Housing Technology Access Fee assessed at the start of each semester.

Meal Plans: Residents living in all residence halls except MRH, TBH, SSR, and PSR are required to select a meal plan. Meal plan rates shown on this page represent the base required meal plan for academic year 2025-2026. Further information can be found on the Dining Services website.

Meal Plans

UIC Dining Services is committed to serving students and the rest of the UIC community every day.

Resident meal plans are required for residents living in the Academic & Residential Complex (ARC), Courtyard, Commons North, Commons West, Commons South, and James Stukel Towers (JST). Residents living in the ARC, Commons West, Commons North, Commons South, Courtyard, or James Stukel Towers that do not select a meal plan are automatically signed up for a 15 meals per week plan with $50 per semester in Flames Fare.

We welcome residents living in Marie Robinson Hall (MRH), Thomas Beckham Hall (TBH), Single Student Residence (SSR), and Polk Street Residence (PSR), as well as commuter students, faculty and staff to also participate in dining on campus with a Blaze meal plan.
