Living in Campus Housing provides UIC students with the convenience and proximity to classrooms, faculty, and student support services such as academic advising, Learning Centers, tutoring services, the UIC Library, as well as lounges and study spaces for classmates to meet and study together.

The convenience of living on campus also allows students to engage in campus events and the UIC community without the need to commute, avoiding the hassle of traffic, transportation costs, winter travel conditions, and more.
