Single Student Residence
Single Student Residence (SSR) is an apartment-style building that houses graduate and professional students as well as undergraduate students that are sophomore academic class standing or above. Each student has an individual bedroom and shares a kitchenette and bathroom within each unit. In addition, each bedroom has a private telephone line. Because this building is mainly for graduate and professional students, the entire building is meant for students to concentrate in their intensive studies. SSR is located on the west side of campus in the Illinois Medical District.
Fall semester-only contracts are offered only in SSR for students graduating at the end of the Fall semester. Meal plans are optional.
Note- Floor plans of the apartments and efficiency apartments can be viewed by clicking through the photo deck below. On average efficiency apartments have less square footage than the other SSR apartments.
